The 14th annual Invisible Ribbon Gala is quickly approaching.
This year’s theme is A Night at the Museum and Devon Taylor, the communications and development coordinator from the Military Family Resource Centre is very excited about what they are planning for this year’s event.
The fundraiser is set for May 12th at the National Air Force Museum.
Taylor says the Stirling Festival Theatre is involved this year and they are helping to create short vignettes to help make the history of the RCAF and National Air Force Museum come alive.
She appeared in front of Quinte West council on Monday night and says they are really pushing ticket sales right now as 100% of the money raised supports military families in our community.
She says even if you can’t attend the event itself, there is an online auction which runs from May 1st through the 8th.
There will also be a live and silent auction the night of the Invisible Ribbon Gala.
Tickets and a link to the online auction can both be found at: http://www.invisibleribbon.ca
