The Belleville Police Service responded to 51 calls for service between April 2, 2018 at 5 a.m. and April 3, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Domestic Disturbance
On April 2nd, 2018, at 7:25 p.m. police attended on Bleecker Avenue in relation to a male arguing with a woman. The investigation revealed that the male was on conditions not to have any contact with the woman. The 19-year-old Belleville man was arrested and held for a bail hearing on April 3, 2018. His charges include two counts of breach of probation. There were no injuries.
Breach of the peace
On April 2nd, 2018, at 10:45 p.m. police attended on Ann Street in relation to a disturbance. A 21-year-old Belleville man was highly agitated over the loss of his cell phone. He was planning on getting revenge on those who had plotted against him. The male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. No one was injured.
