Long time Quinte West OPP member David Ludington is moving up in the communications game.
The Belleville resident has spent 19 years with the Quinte West OPP and before that the municipal force.
For years one of his duties included speaking to the media on behalf of the detachment.
Ludington tells Quinte News he has accepted a new position as the Supervisor for the Provincial Communication Centre.
His area will be all of eastern Ontario.
He says he will take over the position in mid-May.
His last day in Quinte West will be May 4th.
