Specialty units of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were busy on Wednesday.
The Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Tactics and Rescue Unit, and officers of the Bancroft detachment executed a Search Warrant in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands.
As a result of the investigation, cocaine, cannabis marijuana, assorted pills, cash and drug trafficking equipment were seized at the scene.
Daniel Beach, 33, of Bancroft Ontario has been charged with: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and failure to comply with probation order.
Lee Ann Parks, 33, of Bancroft Ontario has been charged with: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and two counts of failure to comply with probation order.
Erika Anneliese Jean Olmstead, 24, of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands has been charged with: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Malcolm Leotaud, 22, of Scarborough Ontario has been charged with: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – under 3 kg, possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 and three counts of failure to comply with probation order.
Racquel Alli, 21, of Pickering Ontario was charged with: possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – under 3 kg, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Jevaughn Dion Gabriel Joseph, 22, of Scarborough Ontario was charged with: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession property obtained by crime under $5,000, failure to comply with recognizance and obstruct a peace officer.
Later in the same evening, officers of the Bancroft detachment of the OPP initiated a traffic stop in relation to a warrant being executed earlier in the day.
Jaime Card, 40, of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands was arrested and charged with: possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, and possession property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Beach, Parks, Leotaud, Alli, Joseph and Card were all held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 29.
Olmstead was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on April 24, 2018.
