The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will make a decision on extensive renovations to make room for elementary school students at Prince Edward Collegiate in Picton.
Board staff is recommending the lowest of three tenders for the work, from K. Knudsen Construction of Belleville.
That bid came in at $1.95 million.
Last year, the board decided to close Queen Elizabeth School in Picton and move the students in to the high school, making it a kindergarten to grade 12 school.
