Grass fires continue to be a huge problem in our region.
Sunday afternoon, there were at least three fires, two in Stirling-Rawdon and one in Brighton.
One of the fires, on Salem Road in Stirling-Rawdon, involved 75 wrapped hay bales which caught fire from sparks coming from a burn barrel.
The other fire in Stirling-Rawdon was on Gospel Road.
The Brighton grass fire was on Cameron Road.
All outdoor burning is banned in every community in the Quinte region due to dangerous dry conditions.
