A vacant two-storey house burned to the ground early Sunday morning in Prince Edward County.
County fire halls 2 and 7 were called out around 3 o’clock to 1483 Gilead Road north of Wellington near the mushroom farm.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
