Belleville Police were kept busy overnight thanks to a few rowdy people.
Early Friday evening police were called to a Front Street apartment about a disturbance.
A 41-year-old woman was arrested for breach of the peace.
Officers say alcohol was a factor.
A few hours later, police attended a Station Street home following a fight.
A 50-year-old local man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
He suffered a minor injury in the fight but didn’t need medical attention.
And at 1:30 this morning, officers dealt with a drunk man in the back of a taxi.
The cab driver had pulled into the police station parking lot.
The cab driver indicated that he had driven his fare initially to Trenton.
Once in Trenton the male wished to return to Belleville.
The male had no money on him and was attempting to pay his cab fare with cigarettes.
The 22-year-old Quinte West man was arrested and charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
The male promised to make restitution to the cab driver to avoid a criminal charge of transportation fraud.
