Unless something very unusual occurs, a high school teacher with the Limestone District School Board will be the liberal candidate in the Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding in the June provincial election.
Tim Rigby, also the President of the riding’s Provincial Liberal Association, is expected to be uncontested at the nomination meeting this Saturday.
Rigby lives in the hamlet of Moscow in the Township of Stone Mills, north of Napanee and is married with three children.
The nomination meeting will be held at the Tweed Library at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
Also running in the riding will be PC candidate Daryl Kramp and the NDP’s Nate Smelle.
