Federal support is coming to North Hastings area seniors.
Hastings – Lennox and Addington MP Mike Bossio announced Tuesday over $53,000 in financial support for three projects.
The Mayo Recreation Committee and Little Mississippi Seniors Club will get help for renovations to the community kitchen.
The Senior Players at the Playhouse and the Town of Bancroft also received support.
Bossio says the government supports New Horizons for Seniors Program community-based projects so that seniors across Canada can lead and participate in local activities beneficial to many.
