A Napanee man appeared in court today to face possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose charges.
Police say just after lunch on Tuesday, a man was spotted in the TD Bank with a firearm.
A witness told police they saw the man drop the firearm in the bank just before they called 911.
The 47-year-old left the bank on foot and was located downtown by officers.
Mark Daigle was found to be in possession of a Winchester air pistol.
