Drivers of commercial vehicles are being reminded about reduced road limits on Prince Edward County roads this time of year.
The Ontario Highway Traffic Act allows municipalities to set load restrictions during the spring season, to limit stress and damage on roadways.
Prince Edward OPP officers will be out enforcing these guidelines until the end of the month, with seasonal weight restrictions identified by signage around The County.
As a basic rule though, commercial vehicles are restricted to carrying a maximum of five tonnes per axle.
