If you’re a community-minded individual with an interest in working alongside the OPP, you might be a perfect candidate to join the auxiliary force in Prince Edward County.
Prince Edward OPP is taking applications for volunteers for the auxiliary officer program, to help out at community events and other functions around The County.
If you want to apply, you have to be at least 18 years old, a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, have a full G license with no more than six demerit points and have completed an Ontario Secondary School Diploma program, or equivalent education.
You’ll also need standard first aid and basic rescuer CPR certification, and be mentally and physically able to perform the needed duties.
