There’s a new face involved with Belleville Transit.
Trish Cooke was introduced on Wednesday night as the new transit supervisor for the City of Belleville at the Transit Operations Review Committee meeting.
She has been on the job for two weeks now says Paul Buck, the Manager of Transit Services and says he’s worked with her twice before and feels she will be a great fit.
Cooke will be responsible for cataloguing all 300 plus bus stops utilized by Belleville Transit in order to make sure they are all AODA compliant, working with mobility services and heading up the driver training program.
Buck says she has already hit the ground running in her new position.
