The Stirling Curling Club’s leaders know a good thing when they see one.
For the third year in a row the club has applied for and received a federal grant through the New Horizons Seniors program.
MP Mike Bossio presented the club with $25,000 today.
The money will be used to buy equipment to make the club’s kitchen more accessible for seniors.
In the past two years, grant money was used for flooring, washroom and lounge upgrades and video monitors.
