Two young men couldn’t get away from Belleville Police after breaking into an abandoned building early Sunday morning.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police responded to the report of someone smashing windows at the building in the city core.
Upon arrival, officers found the two men inside the building and observed some of the damage that had been reported.
Twenty-one-year-old Kolby Embury and 20-year-old Austin Murphy-Lucas were both arrested and later released with one count each of break and enter.
They were given a March court date to answer to the charges.
