Fire destroyed a barn overnight in Tyendinaga Township at the border with Napanee.
Tyendinaga, Napanee, and Mohawk fire departments responded shortly after midnight to an old medium sized barn at the intersection of Deseronto and Tucker Roads.
There was no livestock in the barn, only hay and straw.
No one was injured.
The cause is considered suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called to help with the investigation.
Firefighters remain at the scene dousing hot spots.
