Winter weather caused the roof of a riding arena to collapse north of Cobourg late yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
According to Northumberland News, a horse had to be rescued from the arena on Trotters Lane by Hamilton Township firefighters.
No one else was in the arena.
It’s believed the weight of snow and ice caused the roof to collapse.
