An offer has been made on land in Brighton’s Industrial Park to build a large marijuana growing facility.
Last night, Brighton council heard from a representative from Gnome Works Inc.
The company proposes to build a 57,000 square foot building in two phases.
Most of the building would essentially be a greenhouse.
In full operation it’s estimated the company would employ eight full-time and 15 part-time workers.
Brighton council has not yet decided whether to approve Gnome’s offer on the industrial land.
