The OPP Street Crimes Unit and Emergency Team have made an arrest, following a traffic stop in Tyendinaga Township.
On Tuesday, five people, including a 17-year-old young offender were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Following the arrest, a search warrant was issued for a Quinte West home and two more people were arrested.
Fentanyl was also found during the search.
Seven people face a total of 31 charges:
A 17-year-old from Quinte West who cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act faces three charges; possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and fail to comply with an Undertaking. The Youth was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 15 Bridge Street West Belleville on February 27th, 2018.
Ryan Ferguson, aged 40, of Napanee was charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking. Ferguson was released from custody with a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice, 15 Bridge Street West Belleville on February 26th, 2018.
Jules Corbiere, aged 18, of Quinte West was charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking. She was released with a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice, 15 Bridge Street West Belleville on February 26th, 2018.
All of the following accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing:
Dymon Brathwaite, aged 19, of Pickering Ontario is charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
Jamie Cannons, aged 42, of Quinte West is charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime x 2, and fail to comply with a court order x 4.
Taylor Clement, aged 18, of Quinte West is charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and failing to comply with a court order.
John Dasilva, aged 21, of Richmond Hill Ontario is charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, fail to comply with a recognizance x 2, fail to comply with a court order, and obstruct a peace officer.
