Last month wasn’t out of the ordinary as far as temperatures were concerned in the Quinte region, but it was a lot wetter January than usual.
Last month’s average high and low temperatures were close to the normal, -2 Celsius and -12 Celsius, as recorded at CFB Trenton.
Meanwhile, we received over 54 mm of rain last month, 20 mm more than is usual for a January.
As far as snowfall is concerned, we received over 48 cm, just a little more than the norm.
Total precipitation last month was 93.1 mm, well above the usual January amount of 68 mm.
