The Belleville Senators, already ravaged by injuries and NHL call-ups have had two more players recalled by Ottawa today.
Defenceman Erik Burgdoerfer and forward Chris DiDomenico will meet the Senior Senators in Minnesota for tonight’s game against the Wild. Burgdoerfer has been Belleville’s ironman this season playing in all 43 games. The 29-year-old made his NHL debut last season with the Buffalo Sabres where he played in two games. DiDomenico has appeared in 13 games with Ottawa this season scoring three goals and six points.
They join fellow Belleville teammates Colin White and Filip Chlapik who were called up by Ottawa last week.
