G-Hawks edge Muskies in O.T.
Steven Elliott’s goal 55 seconds into double overtime helped the Trenton Golden Hawks escape Lindsay with a 3-2 win over the Muskies.
The G-Hawks were behind 2-1 with seven minutes left in the third before a Kevin Stiles goal tied the score, setting the stage for Elliott’s heroics.
Max Ewart added his 20th goal of the season. Caleb Boman had Trenton’s lone assist and Carson Poulin turned aside 36 of 38 shots in another solid start in net.
Trenton visits Stouffville to take on the Spirit at 7:30 p.m Saturday night.
Dukes pummel Voyageurs in penalty-filled affair
The Wellington Dukes rolled to a 6-1 triumph over the East Division rival Kingston Voyageurs in a penalty-filled game at Essroc Arena.
128 minutes were racked up between the two teams.
Ben Evans enjoyed a three point night with two goals and an assist. Teddy McGeen, Andrew Rinaldi, Jackson Arcan and Zach Uens all scored single tallies. Declan Carlile contributed three assists.
Goaltender Jonah Capriotti had a lighter night, stopping 17 of 18 shots.

Raiders roll to comfortable win over Jets
Tyler Ignazzitto’s two goals helped the Napanee Raiders to a 7-2 home win over Amherstview.
Ryan Casselman, Josh Murphy and Griffen Conger all had a goal and an assist.
Jeremy Piazzi blocked 33 pucks in the Raiders net.
