A 66-year old Toronto man who has been charged with murder in the disappearances of two men has a local connection.
Toronto Police say they are searching five properties, including one in Madoc, that belong to Bruce MacArthur, in relation to the investigation.
He was arrested by Toronto Police Thursday morning and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the disappearance of Selim Esen and Andrew Kinsman in mid-2017 from near the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood in Toronto.
Police believe MacArthur is responsible for other murders.
Esen and Kinsmen’s bodies have not been found.
