Northumberland OPP are investigating a suspected opioid overdose that claimed the life of a 26 year-old woman.
Police say they were called to a home in Cramahe Township on January 9th where they found the woman without vital signs.
The Northumberland Crime Unit continues to investigate the death and it is believed that drug activity has played a key role in this incident.
More information will be provided as it becomes available and deemed appropriate for release.
