Shelly Craig is asking Brighton council for some help.
The founder of Victory for Animal Society appeared in front of council on Monday night and asked if they could help with a facility for the charity that has been running for two years now.
Craig says a rescue is needed here and it’s been a struggle for them, which is why she’s asking for the help.
Council asked for a report from staff with ways they can possibly assist.
Craig says they rescue animals from the Brighton, Trenton and surrounding area.
She says their major costs include rent, utilities, food, fuel for vehicles, vet bills and medications.
Craig also told council they have many palliative care animals, as well as animals with specials needs.
