Arcan scores two, Dukes edge Flyers
Two goals from Jackson Arcan, including the game-winner early in the third period, gave the Wellington Dukes a 4-3 victory in Orangeville over the Flyers.
Belleville native Daniel Panetta and Campbellford product Dawson Ellis, with his first of the season, also scored for Wellington. Mitchell Martan and Mason Snell each contributed two assists.
Tyler Richardson stopped 23 shots for his first win in his first start as a Duke.
Wellington is back in action on home ice this evening, hosting the Cobourg Cougars at 5 p.m at Essroc Arena.
Rebels fall to Islanders
In Jr C, the Campbellford Rebels fell 6-2 to Gananoque.
Mathieu Piazzi and Nolan Stevenson scored for Campbellford.
Alex Ward was the losing goaltender for the Rebels.
Jr. Bulls rout Knights
The Raldane Welding Peewee AE Jr. Bulls got multi-point games from six different players in a 10-2 rout of the Ajax Knights yesterday.
Leading the way was Braeden Davis with a hat trick and an assist. Jacob Donohue, Rylee Cotten, Owen Bird and Davin Osmond contributed three points and Keegan Tugnette added two.
Kaleb Parkinson got the win in net.
