We set two new weather records in the Quinte region yesterday.
The temperature, as measured at CFB Trenton, topped out at 11.1 degrees Celsius.
The previous high temperature record for a January 12 was 10.7 degrees, set in 2013.
And, we have a new total precipitation record. The rainfall total yesterday was 15.4 mm while we received 7 cm of snow for a total of 22.4 mm.
That was a higher precipitation total than the record of 18.9 mm that was set in 2012.
