The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame is putting out a call to the community for nominations for the class of 2018 inductees.
Residents are being asked to support the Hall of Fame by submitting their nomination for individual athletes, builders of sport and teams.
To be nominated, athletes must have lived in the Belleville area for at least five years, must be five years removed from their competitive career or have reached the age of 50.
You can click HERE to fill out a nomination form that can be delivered through email to d_mills@bell.net, or dropped off to the Customer Service Desk at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
The deadline for nominations is May 15. The induction ceremony will take place Saturday, September 15 at the Dr. R.L. Vaughan Atrium inside the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
