The push continues to get a Dialysis clinic in the Quinte Region, with the hopes it could be located in vacant space at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Dr. David Weinstein started a petition in November, to show the community need and support for the clinic, to the Ontario Renal Network.
Dr. Weinstein says at this point there are no firm updates on the process, but that the ORN is finalizing a capacity study, with some drafts being circulated for review.
He says to date, there are about 1,200 to 1,300 signatures on his petition and the Our TMH group is also helping to promote the cause.
