Prince Edward County Mayor Robert Quaiff won’t be seeking another term as chair of the Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus when they gather this Thursday and Friday in Kingston.
Quaiff says he’s sticking with tradition, as the chair and vice-chair normally sit for a one year term only.
He says he will be there with a helping hand for whomever gets elected chair as he states there is a steep learning curve involved.
Quaiff says he proposed a few months ago that beginning in 2019, whomever becomes chair of the EOWC, also becomes chair of the EOLC.
