Those who get a paycheck from Tyendinaga Township are getting a pay raise.
At last week’s municipal council meeting, council approved a wage increase across the board of two percent.
That raise will happen in each of the next three years, ending in 2020.
CAO Steve Mercer says the municipality has 13 full-time and 20 part-time staff.
The increase would also be for members of council.
