It will soon be easier to come and go at Belleville’s Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Last year, city council approved the installation of traffic lights at the south entrance of the Centre, at Cannifton Road where exit traffic often gets held up.
General Manager of Transportation and Operation Joe Reid says it had been planned to have the lights in by the end of December but holidays and winter snow got in the way.

The lights will be programmed so there will be no traffic holdup.

Reid says this will help during the day and certainly during hockey game times.
