Shannonville”s Norm Maracle has been inducted into the Adirondack Hockey Hall of Fame.
Ceremonies were held in Glens Falls New York on Saturday night prior to Adirondack’s ECHL game against the Brampton Beast, which ironically is a farm team of the Belleville Senators.
Maracle played parts of 5 seasons(1994-1999) with Adirondack when they were in the American Hockey League. He appeared in 233 games with the Red Wings, the most of any goaltender in franchise history.
Maracle also played 68 games in the NHL with the Atlanta Thrashers and Detroit Red Wings where he won a Stanley Cup in 1998.
