Ruth Ingersoll says 2018 will be a year where the Community Development Council of Quinte will gather some hard numbers on a couple of issues affecting our region.
A project they have on the books that has already been announced is the homeless study in our region.
Ingersoll says knowing the numbers is a very important part of what they do.
She says they are working on a project on food insecurity as she says they want to try and get to the root of the problem.
Ingersoll says there are ‘food deserts’ and this research will help shed some light into the depth of food insecurity.
