A 28-year-old man has been held for a bail hearing following a foot chase in Belleville’s east end early Thursday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call from a residence where, upon arrival, officers engaged in a foot pursuit with a male suspect around the home.
A female at the scene received minor injuries.
The suspect, from Belleville, is charged with break and enter with intent, assault with a weapon, assault, two counts of breaching officer-in-charge undertaking conditions and breaching probation.
