As is normal on Christmas day, the Belleville Police Service weren’t as busy as usual, but it wasn’t all peace and quiet.
Officers had to calm down not one, but a total of 8 family arguments on Christmas Day. Luckily, they did so without any charges having to be laid.
There were a couple of accidents yesterday morning in Belleville. One person suffered minor injuries.
And a drunk man was taken to Belleville General Hospital for observation after being found passed out on Wellington Street in the west end around 4:30 Christmas afternoon.
