High water stands out as one of the major issues for the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. That according to the newly re-elected Chief R Don Maracle.
As we continue to look back at 2017, Maracle tells Quinte News this caused some setbacks for the community.
He says there were some big wins as well.
The return of 300 acres and a cash claim is currently before the federal government too.
A water tower, housing and education, infrastructure and the upcoming cannabis issue have also been priorities for the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.
