A Belleville retailer is helping needy people in the community stay warm this winter. TSC Stores has donated 1,230 pairs of warm winter socks to
the Belleville Salvation Army.
TSC’s customers supported the promotion by purchasing the socks for a low price of a dollar a pair.
The Salvation Army’s Director of Community and Family Services, Abby Mills, says the socks will be given to people in need this winter from
the Army’s office on Pinnacle Street in the downtown.
It’s hoped the “Heat Some Feet” promotion will be an annual event.
