Two more businesses have stepped up to help the United Way of Hastings and Prince Edward push closer to its 2017 campaign goal.
Magna presented United Way representatives with a cheque for $13,310, while West City Honda handed over $10,000, pushing the organization to 89% of its fundraising goal.
To date, the United Way HPE has raised more than $1.7 million dollars this year.
United Way says December 31st is the last day to make a donation and is also the last day to receive a tax receipt for your donation as well.
The organization, which funds 75 programs through 37 agencies, is trying to raise $1.97 million this year.
The next campaign update will come in the new year when the total funds raised are announced.
