A Trent Lakes man has been fined $2,500 for unlawful deer hunting offences in the Township of Stirling-Rawdon.
The Ministry of Natural Resources charged Edward McGarvey with unlawfully hunting at night, possessing an unencased firearm at night, hunting white-tailed deer without a licence and failing to wear hunter orange.
McGarvey pleaded guilty to the charges in Belleville last week.
He also received a two-year hunting licence suspension and must take the Ontario Hunter Education Course ruled Justice Sam Cureatz.
