When Loyalist College President Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan looks back on 2017 she sees a number of highlights, despite the work stoppage dominating most of the headlines.
Dr. Vaughan also noted the College started a number of new programs in 2017.
She says the first thing that comes to her mind are the students who received scholarships to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ontario colleges.
She says the Lancers have also had a very successful varsity season so far.
The women’s rugby team placed third in provincials and the women’s volleyball team is ranked fifth in the province.
