It’s been a constructive year for the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board.
After combining the Bay of Quinte Tourist Council and the Bay of Quinte Living Council, a new board of directors was elected and the focus shifted to encompass both tourism marketing and resident attraction.
Executive Director Dug Stevenson says the next step was to create a framework for a longer-term plan, to bring more investment from municipalities and add some new tools to market the Bay of Quinte Region.
Stevenson says there are currently nine kiosks in operation which are seeing about 100 uses a day and are helping to free up front desk staff at the places they’re located.
