The Grace Inn Shelter has benefited from a generous donation from the Quinte and District Association of Realtors.
The cheque for $5,674 was handed over to shelter representatives on Friday.
Grace Inn Shelter will be opening a 21-bed emergency shelter for adults in downtown Belleville.
The funds came from the member dues that were collected for investment and redistribution into the community.
