Adopt an Acre is back for another year and this time your donations support an integral fundraising initiative that will help improve Quinte Conservation’s water monitoring programs.
For a donation of $25 or more, you will be helping to build a new water monitoring and research facility at Quinte Conservation. This facility is crucial in providing current data on the health of water within the Quinte Conservation Watershed.
Adopt an Acre makes a great gift for any occasion! Donors will receive a tax receipt for their donation as well as an adoption certificate with the donor’s choice of name on it.
Adopt two acres and take home a QC plush mascot. This year, they’ve added a new forest friend for you to collect! Conrad the Cardinal and his friends Chippy the Chipmunk and Fern the Fox are ready for you!
Adopting an acre is easy and can be done by calling the office at 613-968-3434, by visiting the office located at 2061 Old Hwy 2, Belleville, or by following the links at the bottom of this page.
Last year, Adopt an Acre brought in over $6,000 for conservation protection towards locations throughout the QC watershed.
