A teacher at Quinte Secondary School is under investigation, following recent allegations made to the Hastings Prince Edward School Board .
Board Spokeswoman Kerry Donnell says they were recently contacted about allegations and contacted the Belleville Police Service .
Sources to Quinte News say a teacher was walked out of Quinte Secondary earlier this month.
Donnell says city police are involved and the staff member is not working, pending the investigation.
Belleville Police Inspector Chris Barry says the Criminal Investigations Branch is looking into the allegations.
We are not aware of any charges laid at this time, or specific allegations made.
Both Donnell and Barry say no other details are being released at this time.
