The results of the election for the Tyendinaga Mohawk Band Council aren’t known yet and aren’t likely to be until tomorrow (Tuesday).
According to a post on the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Facebook page, a scrutineer requested a recount and that count will take place starting this afternoon at 5 o’clock.
The election for Band Council took place on Saturday.
