Belleville council will take another step toward making a major road project a reality just north of the 401.
It’s expected the reconstruction of Mineral Road and Maitland Drive will begin next year and today council will award the contract for project administration and daily inspection.
Staff is recommending the firm that’s already done the 12 million dollar project’s design, BT Engineering of Nepean.
The firm had the lowest bid for the administration and inspection contract at $586,000.
