The Quinte Blades Speed Skating Club hosted the second East Regional competition at the Dever Arena this weekend.
Eve McMaster skated to a first place finish in her division. In the Special Olympics Provincial Qualifier division, Nicole Ferguson raced to 4 first place finishes. Adam James earned 4 second place finishes while Kai Freeland had a first, two seconds and a third.
Fifteen local speed skaters competed yesterday with many recording personal bests.
