Two local school boards have elected board chairs for the upcoming year.
The Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic Board re-elected John Brisbois to the chair position.
Brisbois, who lives in Carrying Place, is in his second year as chair and 11th on the board of trustees.
Terry Shea will serve as Vice-Chair, while Sean Kelly is the Chair of Finance and Operations Committee.
Meantime, the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board has elected Diane Lloyd.
She has served in the chair and vice chair positions in the past.
The Vice-Chairperson is Anthony Caruso.
Earlier this week, the Hastings Prince Edward School Board re-elected Lucilly Kyle and Dave Patterson as Chair and Vice-Chair.
